Key Points:

Keep a safe distance

  • maintain social distancing of at least 2 meters
  • reduce time spent in crowded areas
  • avoid direct face to face contact

Good hygiene

  • wash your hands regularly throughout the day
  • wash your hands after coming into contact with surfaces touched by many others

Clean your surroundings

  • clean surfaces often
  • pay particular attention to surfaces that are touched frequently

Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze

  • a cough or sneeze from someone infected with COVID-19 will significantly increase the risk of infecting others around them 

Wear a face covering

  • this reduces the spread of droplets and aerosols and protects those around you

Let fresh air in

  • the more ventilated an area is the less likely infectious particles will be inhaled

Stop the spread of coronavirus

  • Get tested if you have symptoms
  • Self-isolate if you have symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test result
  • Get a vaccination
